Muslims urged to sight Zul Hijjah moon today

Muslims have been asked to report their sighting - either with their eyes or binoculars - to the nearest court.

Saudi Arabia has urged Muslims in the country to participate in the Zul Hijjah moon sighting efforts and report their testimonies on Thursday (August 1, Zul Qaadah 29, 1440), Spa reported.

In a statement issued by the Supreme Court, Muslims have been asked to report their sighting - either with their eyes or binoculars - to the nearest court.

If Zul Hijjah begins on August 2, then Eid Al Adha will fall on August 11 in the region, including UAE.
