"Iran, the Number One State of Sponsored Terror with numerous violations of Human Rights occurring on an hourly basis, has now closed down the Internet so that peaceful demonstrators cannot communicate. Not good!" the president tweeted. 

 

The president's tweet comes after the Iranian government appeared to have moved to shut down the internet over the weekend. 

The move was in response to a slew of protests against the country's regime.
