The police had earlier posted a missing persons request on their Instagram social media account.
The Ras Al Khaimah Police has found the missing boy in Sharjah. According to his mother, the 13-year-old Majid Abdullah Mohammed Abdulrahman, from Comoros Islands, had been missing since June 04.
Zamzam Al Shehi, the mother of the child, said she that she had received a call from Al Mamourah Police Station in RAK, after her son had been found.
"I had asked him to dump the garbage outside around 2:30am as is the case every day, but he did not come back this time", she said
The panicked mother went on searching for the child until 5:00 am in the morning but could not find him.
Having failed to find him with the friends and relatives, she informed the RAK police.
"I tried to reach him on his mobile, but he had left it behind. I was extremely worried about the safety of my boy until the RAK police found him", she added.
One of the community members found him in Sharjah and handed him over to the police there. He was then taken to the RAK police.
"Investigations are on to identify as to how he went missing and reached Sharjah," RAK police sources told Khaleej Times.
